DONE DEAL: Arsenal splashes £103.5M to sign £203,000-a-week star on a five-years transfer deal

Gunners took Matheus Cunha on their shopping list in part of their preparation for January addition due to the injury of Bukayo Saka. With a void left by Saka, Arsenal feels the need to value their attacking measures in order to keep standing among the title challengers.

They are working tirelessly, as there are several names being tipped with the team under Mikel Arteta. But Cunha has tilted tilting towards becoming a hugely preferred Gunners target, having been monitored throughout this season. Still, he has shown to be one of the most excellent performers after Wolves have been very poor in the Premier League this season, netting 10 goals so far, surely even justifying his quality despite such bad campaigns of his team.

Already, his ability to impact top Premier League cases in these last months has been noted. Cunha’s goals mean more when he consistently scores from an average to a good level. As reported in The Daily Mail, Arsenal are expected to be targeting his signature to bring him to the Emirates in January. The last few seasons that Cunha has played at the Premier League have demonstrated his ability to work well in an elite-level club such as Arsenal.

Cunha’s expected price may not be really cheap; however, Arsenal believes that, in pretty solid terms, his addition to the squad would significantly strengthen their attacking options. The talent and consistency of a Brazilian forward would surely contribute a lot to the team by Arteta, making possible a strong second half of the season by depth. By getting Cunha on board, Arsenal look forward to adding to their ranks a pretty reliable and dynamic player who will be important for further stays in the title race.
