The first race of the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship at RPM Speedway located in Crandall, Texas has been called off.
Originally planned for this Thursday night that is the 5th of September, the event will not be staged due to some issues affecting the facility which is to host this week’s event. Which, in turn, will not allow it to be rescheduled.
The USAC National Sprint Car races again this coming weekend for back-to-back action at Arkansas’ Texarkana 67 Speedway on Friday-Saturday, September 6-7 with the Wingless Short Track Nationals.
The Friday event at Texarkana will be worth $6,000 to win and $600 to start. Saturday’s championship event will have a payout of $10,000 to the winner with $600 to start. Both Texarkana events will feature ASCS Elite Non-Wing Sprint Car Series as the co-sanctioning organization. This year’s event is being defending by Matt Westfall, a racer from Pleasant Hill, Ohio.
