According to the claims emanating from Brazil, Atlético Mineiro are among the interested clubs for the West Ham United’s Luizão on New Year’s Eve.
Cuca, the newly appointed manager, has sanctioned the transfer of the 22-year-old Brazilian from Atlanta.
The Departure has been confirmed under O Tempo, stating that the player is seeking ton leave West Ham to return to Brazil during the winter market window.
Rumored to be preferred by the player, the Atlético Mineiro option, is ‘awaiting an offer’ to have him join.
However, initial contact with the Brazilian club has been established with them to find out conditions to sign him.
West Ham were keen on a sale originally but are now prepared to allow a loan as long as the full salary of the center back is covered.
UOL says that Atlético Mineiro have started negotiations with the Hammers for Cuca’s okay.
As for the both clubs, the talks are still ongoing and Atlético Mineiro is finding ways to launch a proposal against Julen Lopetegui’s side which keeps on awaiting any offers.
Luizao has not played a single match for West Ham’s senior team since arriving in January 2023 from São Paulo and is keen to come back to Brazil in this window.
