Are Other Fan Bases As Upset About This Ruling As Buckeye Fans?
First off let me start by saying, this absolutely was cheating and gave them a huge advantage.
However, Ohio State fans seem to be the most upset by it. Thinking ichigan was really going to get hammered and have to forfeit the National Championship was emotional, wishful thinking.
The timing of a resolution when so long that they never would have given them a bowl ban because it wouldn’t have given the ichigan players not involved an opportunity to transfer out and leave. Ohio State wasn’t the only team to lose to them while this cheating was taking place, yet Buckeye fans are the most upset.
Ohio State lost again to them last season without the signs being stolen. In the end, I’m not really sure how and why anyone should really be surprised about this outcome. Unless Ohio State can win after all of this, it’s never going to get put in the rearview mirror.
Sayin transferred to Ohio State from Alabama after Nick Saban retired. The former five-star from California was the No. 2 ranked QB in his class. While Kienholz has the athleticism advantage between the two QBs, Sayin has a much better arm. But his size of just 6-feet-1 has probably prevented Sayin from winning the job outright months ago.
