DONE DEAL: Arsenal has just completed their first winter signing as striker arrived on a five-years transfer deal

Omar Marmoush, a striker for Eintracht Frankfurt, is enjoying the best season of his career in the Bundesliga, which has piqued the interest of Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Egyptian has currently netted 13 goals and assisted 7 in the Bundesliga for this season.

Boasting as fine form as any at the age of 25, this attacker has seen his team currently tag along in third place in the Bundesliga, closely following Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.

As stated by GiveMeSport, Liverpool is more focused on resolving the issue about a contract with one of their star players, thus opening a door for Mikel Arteta’s club in the battle to signing Marmoush.

The report indicated that the German club would demand 50 million pounds for their star attacker, but they do not want to let Marmoush leave midway through the season.

Any move meant for this Bundesliga star will have to wait until the next summer transfer window.

Liverpool finally seem to be trying to recruit Marmoush and potentially considered him as an alternative to Salah, even though the 32-year-old gives no suggestions of ceasing anytime soon, and thus, the Reds want to ensure he stays at the club.

Liverpool has no plans to sign new players but concentrates on Mohamed Salah.

He has had the most prolific season of his career so far leaving him with a total of 17 goals in the Premier League and equal assists in record at 13.

Scored 30 goals in just 18 Premier League matches, and now everyone talks about this Liverpool star demanding a new contract at Anfield; and the match was made brighter in the Reds camp, who might win the Premier League title this season.

Liverpool is one of the premier league clubs that have earmarked Marmoush, who has been performing wonderfully this season. The club is not going to sell him in response to the said interest of the big powerhouses, but a shove from a great Premier League club, like Arsenal or Liverpool, may turn his head and force him to demand leaving the German club.

Marmoush is still tied to the German club for two-and-a-half years more but the chance of moving to one of these Premier League giants would only mean competing for trophies but also to weigh up even fatter pay.

Now that Liverpool has all of its priorities wrapped up, Arsenal gets the chance to bring Marmoush to the Emirates Stadium and slot him into their already arsenal-rich attack.
