Arsenal football club could make a perfect signing in one of Spain’s brilliant players as the January transfer window opens.

Should they lose that case, Olmo may be able to leave for free at the beginning of 2025. Should this be the scenario then Arsenal should grab him on a Bosman deal.
Olmo would be a fabulous player to sign up free of charge
This term, the Euro 2024 winner has played attacking midfielder for Barcelona. He has managed six goals and one assist in fifteen games.
However, he can also operate pretty easily from the right or left, while also leading the line as he has done for Spain on many occasions.
His versatility will make him the ideal signing fitness-wise under Arteta, who loves to have flexible footballers, and Olmo is sure starting regularly.
The ex-Leipzig player knows how to get involved with goal scores while being very much in the game with his high pressing, dribbling ability, and long ball distribution.
Olmo, who has been described as ‘exceptional’ by RB Leipzig managing director Marcel Schafer, would be a serious bargain signing on a free transfer this winter.
Signing the playmaker appears to be a no-brainer decision for the Gunners.
On the contrary, Arsenal needs to think of a loan until the end of the season if Olmo does not want to move to Barcelona on a free transfer as they cannot register him.
Olmo has missed around 20 games on average over the last three seasons, but he would not represent a risky signing for Arsenal if he joins on a Bosman or loan transfer.
